When I was young,

• A dollar seemed so much, I was reluctant to spend more than a dollar for reccess.



• An hour seemed so long, and watching an-hour-drama-serial on channel eight seemed like a movie.



• A "sorry" could cure everything



• A "please" could get you anything



• Friends were easy to find



• Homework was fun



• Appearance and superficiality weren't in the dictionary



• and neither was materialism



• nor when the world was going to end



• Seperations just meant you would see each other tommorow



• You did not have to care why Osama wanted to bomb Singapore



• or why Lee Kwan Yew cried to get Singapore back
